Craigslist Image Ads – How To

Generate free leads using image ads on Craigslist.

In this video tutorial, I am going to show you how to quickly and easily create Craigslist Image Ads for use in your online lead generation efforts.

You may be asking, "Why should I use Image Ads on Craigslist anyway?".

To answer that question, let me give you a quick overview of the Craigslist scene for marketing your Network Marketing home-based business.

First off, over 700 million people per day visit Craigslist! That's over 21 billion people per month! Now, not all of them are looking for what you have, but enough are to make Craigslist a hot place to generate free and/or low cost leads for your MLM or Direct Sales business.

Before you jump into Craigslist advertising, you need to be aware of a couple challenges...

First of all, unless you know HTML (web page coding) your ad on Craigslist will show up as plain text. You may know from studying marketing psychology, that images and color will boost the performance of your ad. So you need to overcome the plain text issue to get higher converting ads.

Secondly, there's those damn Flaggers! Flaggers are either one of the few Craigslist interns who monitor ads placed in certain sections, but more often than not a Flagger is your competitor trying to eliminate the competition - you! (Insert curses here...).

Using an Image Ad on Craigslist helps to minimize these two drawbacks, because:

1. You can design your ad with color and graphics, so it stands out against the other plain text ads
2. Flaggers have a harder time finding Image Ads because they are not searchable on Google or Craigslist. That means, the only way a flagger can find your ad is if he/she scans all the post titles. That takes a lot more time than a search, and because of that, a Flagger is less likely to find your ad and flag it for removal
